Terms of Service

I. General

  1. These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. However, if consumer protection regulations in your country of residence are more favorable, those regulations will apply.

  2. These terms apply to all purchases made on this website. Ordinary Drip is a subscription service and an online coffee shop.

  3. By confirming your acceptance of these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy during the account sign-up process, you agree to be bound by these terms in full. In return, we grant you access to our website and services.

II. Purchasing

  1. At checkout, all order details will be displayed for your review. Once you confirm these details, we will proceed to finalize your order with our suppliers. Please verify that all names, addresses, product details, and quantities are correct upon receipt of confirmation documents and notify us immediately of any errors. Certain information may be shared with credit-checking companies as necessary.

  2. A contract is formed when you accept the offer for goods in your shopping cart by clicking the "Order" button. You will receive an additional confirmation email immediately after placing your order.

  3. You must promptly update any changes to your personal or payment information via your customer account page. If payment cannot be processed due to outdated payment details, we cannot fulfill your order. To ensure changes take effect before your next subscription cycle, update your information at least 48 hours before the subscription payment cut-off date.

  4. All personal and payment information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

  5. By subscribing to Ordinary Drip's coffee service, you agree to receive regular coffee deliveries at your specified delivery address. You also accept responsibility for the safety of these goods once delivered and acknowledge any safety notices provided on our website.

III. Terms of Payment

  1. The prices listed at the time of purchase apply. When a new price list is published, it replaces the previous one.

  2. Subscription prices include statutory value-added tax (VAT).

  3. Your Ordinary Drip subscription will remain active until canceled by you. Instructions for canceling a subscription can be found in the FAQ section on our website.

  4. Payment methods include credit card, PayPal, invoice, direct debit, or instant bank transfer. Orders will only be processed after payment authorization from your card issuer or payment provider. We are not liable for delays caused by payment authorization issues or rejected payments.

  5. All receipts and invoices will be sent electronically to the email address provided during purchase.

IV. Termination or Refusal by Ordinary Drip

  1. We reserve the right to suspend, refuse, or cancel your account or subscription orders at any time at our sole discretion without prior notice or explanation. If this occurs, you will only be charged for orders that have already been shipped.

V. Delivery

  1. Shipping costs are additional to subscription and product prices and are detailed in the product offers.

  2. Deliveries are made via DHL with an estimated delivery time of three working days within Germany.

  3. Product prices do not include costs for packaging, loading, transport, insurance, or related services unless explicitly stated otherwise.

  4. For international orders, any additional fees (e.g., bank charges or transfer fees) are the buyer's responsibility.

  5. Delivery times and costs pertain specifically to DHL shipping services.

  6. By placing an order, you consent to us sharing your email address with DHL Vertriebs GmbH for shipment updates (e.g., delivery window notifications). If you object to this data sharing, please notify us; however, shipment status updates will no longer be available in such cases.

VI. Cancellation and Disputes

  1. Right to Cancel: You have the right to cancel this contract within 14 days without providing a reason.

    • The cancellation period is 14 days from the day you or a third party (other than the carrier) take possession of the goods.

  2. Subscription Cancellation: To cancel your subscription:

    • Notify us at least 48 hours before your next scheduled payment date.

    • If cancellation occurs less than 48 hours before your next payment date or subscription cut-off date, charges for that cycle may still apply, and orders may still be delivered.

  3. Disputes: Any disputes arising from these Terms of Service or related orders will be resolved exclusively under German jurisdiction in German courts.
